Our maintenance and grounds crews have been working tirelessly to clear our campuses and ensure a safe environment for everyone. We truly appreciate their hard work and dedication during these challenging conditions. However, despite these efforts, all Bourbon County campuses remain closed to all activities at this time. This includes all practices, club meetings, and extracurricular events.The safety of our Colonel family is our absolute priority. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and will provide further updates as they become available.Thank you for your continued patience and understanding!

The safety of our students, staff and community is always our top priority. Any event sponsored by Bourbon County Schools must be completed by noon on Saturday, January 24. We will shut down all campuses around 12:30 and ask all students, staff and visitors to remain off campus until we share a reopening plan.

Out of an abundance of caution and due to the fact that too many roads are still covered in snow and ice this evening, Bourbon County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
Tomorrow will be designated as NTI Day #2. Please have your student follow the instructions provided by their teachers for Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI). Daycare services will be open.
